Opalux low mirror solar control films can make a big difference to the amount of solar heat & glare transmitted through glass.
They are used where the end user, or specifier, prefers a more neutral appearance, rather than the highly mirrored look of solar reflective films.
They are used for architectural and stylistic reasons and, while metallised, have a muted grey or bronze interior and exterior appearance.
They have a lower reflectance but still achieve a good level of solar heat and glare control, which varies with the density selected.
Opalux low mirror films are available in interior, or exterior weatherable versions. Depending on the particular circumstances of the building, film can be applied to the interior or exterior surface of the glass using the appropriate version.
